No. You can sign up and start with free credits, then decide on passes, subscriptions, or credit packs later.
Does this work with multiple resumes?
Yes. Tailoring and passes work across all resumes.
Resume Info (profile setup)
What should I add to Resume Info before tailoring?
At least one job, one project, education, and a few skills. The more complete your profile, the better the tailoring quality.
Can I control what appears on my resume?
Yes. Many fields and items have visibility toggles so you can include/exclude details before export.
AI Journal
What is the AI Journal and why use it?
It’s a conversational journal to capture accomplishments, challenges, and learnings. Entries become a searchable experience database the tailor can pull from to add authentic details.
How do I earn credits by journaling?
When you create and save journal entries, credits are awarded automatically. Bonuses are available; they don’t stack within the same week. Credits aren’t awarded for paid actions (tailor/insights).
What happens when I create a journal entry?
The entry is saved, may be analyzed for insights, and an embedding is generated so it’s searchable and can be referenced during tailoring.
Can I edit or delete journal entries?
Yes. You can update or delete your entries anytime.
Do journal entries feed tailoring?
Yes. Tailoring can pull journaled insights to add specific, resume‑worthy details to bullets.
Tailoring
How do I tailor my resume?
Paste a job description into the tailor. It analyzes the role and cross‑references your Resume Info and journal entries to generate tailored bullets, summaries, and keywords.
Does tailoring use credits?
Yes. Each tailor action consumes credits. If you have an active pass or subscription, credits are paused while it’s active (subject to Fair Use).
Will the AI make up numbers?
No. It won’t fabricate facts. It may suggest where quantification could help. You control and can edit all outputs before saving or exporting.
Can I export an ATS‑friendly PDF?
Yes. You can export ATS‑friendly PDFs anytime.
Insights
What insights do I get?
A data‑driven view (e.g., weekly resume edits, applications, journal entries, skills added) and SWOT‑style analysis to guide what to improve next.
Are insights included with passes/subscriptions?
Passes include insights. If you’re paying per action, insights may consume credits.
Credits, passes, and subscriptions
What are credits?
Pay‑per‑action units used for tailoring (and, if not on a pass/subscription, certain insights). You start with 50 free credits and can earn more via journaling or buy a credits pack.
What are passes?
Time‑boxed unlimited tailoring under Fair Use caps (e.g., Focus 4h, Day 24h, Weekend 72h, Week 7d). No subscription or commitment.
What is the Fair Use policy?
Unlimited tailoring intended for normal individual job‑seeking activity, with caps to ensure reliability. See caps on the pricing page.
What happens when my pass ends?
You’ll see a notice and actions switch back to using credits.
Do subscriptions pause credit usage?
Yes, while active, under Fair Use limits. Weekly and monthly subscription options are available.
Can I buy credits instead of a pass/subscription?
Yes. Credit packs let you pay per action with no commitment.
Do journaling bonuses stack?
Bonuses don’t stack within the same week; you’ll receive the higher one for that period.
Accounts and authentication
How do I sign in?
Via email/password through secure authentication. If you’re not signed in, you’ll be redirected for actions like journaling or purchasing.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Use the account page to delete your account. You’ll receive confirmation when complete.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export your data from your profile or account controls.
Privacy and data
What personal data do you store?
Data you provide (Resume Info, journal entries, tailoring outcomes), plus vector embeddings for journal content to enable semantic search and better suggestions.
Is my data private?
Yes. Access requires authentication, and embeddings are used to serve you within the app. See the Privacy Policy for regional rights (e.g., GDPR/EEA, CCPA/CPRA).
How long is my data retained?
See the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data anytime from your account.
Troubleshooting
I ran out of credits—what are my options?
Keep journaling to earn credits, buy a credit pack, or start a pass/subscription for unlimited tailoring under Fair Use.
Tailoring quality seems generic—how do I improve it?
Complete Resume Info with concrete achievements and keep journaling. The system performs best with richer, specific inputs.
I closed the tab during an enhancement—did I lose progress?
The app persists the session; when you reopen, it can resume where you left off.
